Pamudzi Pathu Initiative, in collaboration with Mable Foundation, successfully distributed menstrual hygiene kits to students at Mgoza Primary School in Chikwawa. This intervention was specifically designed to support the school community, which was severely impacted by Cyclone Freddy in 2023.
The menstrual hygiene kits, tailored to address the unique needs of disadvantaged girls, comprised:
– Underwear
– Reusable menstrual pads
– Menstrual hygiene booklet
– Washing soap
This initiative aims to promote menstrual hygiene and dignity among vulnerable girls who lack access to essential sanitary products. By providing these critical resources, Pamudzi Pathu Initiative and Mable Foundation seek to foster a supportive environment that enables girls to manage their menstrual health with confidence and dignity.
Girls from Liwonde secondary school also benefited from the same menstrual Kits.
